       Has anyone tried making a Larabee style tiled rendering video card but with arm?Like, just stuff 100 arm cortexes on one board. Give each one a tiny slice of the screen to render

       @foone I know of an old research project that was kinda that but for FPGA, using lots of little cores instead of LUTs

       @foone the 100 ARM Cortex cores in one chip thing was announced back in 2015 but never materialized. Tbh it was late to the vaporware market after Xeon Phi (oh Intel actually made that shit) and Tilera.

       @foone Run Swiftshader on a Xeon or EPYC and you can get a feel for how well it'd work, probably. It'd be right to an order of magnitude.
