One of my students unironically described nursery rhyme music as "lo fi childhood beats"and I wanted to correct them... but couldn't think of WHY so I did not.

@futurebird Because they are right, and that is both a good thing and something to celebrate - not demean.One reason childhood nursery rhymes are so common in drama/horror type scenarios is that they are embedded in us. They are memorable. They are superb ways of communicating information.

@futurebird isn't there discord with #lofi the musicplayer for soundcloud, deezer, etc.?maybe got inspired by wording, as one referred one to a "bird leaf" when he forgot how feathers got their name buuuut nice as they be quite in a similar shape, maybe except acorn, still.
