@wish @piggo interesting havent dug too deep into pleroma, but got started with a mastodon cuz of the high usership, figured its be an easier platform to move friends to for the first time.Will check it out more, arent the post from both platforms federated?

@piggo @wish just reading about that! Can you really run a server off a raspberry pi with this platform? Even if a million people requested from it!??? If so that would actually be a huge help for a project!

@wish @piggo XD not necessarily, was looking to get a social set up on a sever, of course would be thousands of $$ to set up, getting a rough idea of how much pleroma activity can be used off of a 8g raspberry pi see how much could save moving this direction instead

@stux for a legit response, if you have been letting your cat in everytime they meow for awhile... you maybe screwed xDCheck to make sure they aint in pain vs just seeking attention.If you just got the cat, than theyll still be adjusting to your personality, you can hiss them away or use water everytime they meow to set boundries, within a few times, they should get the idea. (Personal experience working with over thousands of cats of many different species)

@cjd @katp32 @berkes @Ted meant in response to the "crypto problem"But while rough around the edges, this is true. :)Perfer to think in terms of circulating energy rather than burning it :p For crypto, lighter script and better hardware should continue to help with this issue.If/when quantum processing hits, that may either make or break it as well xD

@Hyolobrika @stux Think it depends on what your motives are, Just an opinion from personal experience;feel as if Mastodon has a broader appeal, finding it way easier to explain to less-techy people to get them started in the fediverse,however would recommend Pleroma to the DIY crowd that needs cheaper solutions for hosting a private social server, and they wouldnt mind spending more time learning in advanced.

@realcaseyrollins @Hyolobrika @stux Lol, meant the community we're involved with that rebuilds/recycle computers, and pleroma seems to have supernaturally low system requirements, they have been able to run it on old desktops, as far as the software, wouldnt know much about it.

@katie didnt get to read the article, tho people should be questioning covid vax as much as possible; there is lots of leaked classified documents and videos floating around that provide solid evidence that there is, in fact, ulterior motives behind mass vaccination.

@TonyStark @stux Respectfully speaking, There is actually a pretty valid counter argument people should consider before deciding if it's safe. Such as the leaked classified cia documents and videos reguarding the vax; not to be confused with the outrageous conspiracies that also lurk around lol.In a biological sense, when it comes to immunity, nothing will ever be quite as effective as exercise, raw plants, hydration, balanced emotions and proper rest.
