My crazy thoughts on #Catch 22. The #work is crazy and only the most craziest would read and the highest order of lunatics would #enjoy it. Now, if opposite ends of lunacy are an endless loop, then, now, you know who would enjoy it. Now, what was I. ..........https://srinicame.blogspot.com/2019/12/finally-caught-up-with-catch-22.html?m=1

I just switch on any communication to the public network on my phone, the first ping is always to a #Facebook server and then several others. Though I don't have any apps related to them nor did I do any action which would have required that ping. #Dangerous times ahead.

All my future #BSD installs will be on VMs. #Freebsd needs maintenance on every single upgrade and #dragon fly BSD doesn't do multiboot. In that way, openbsd install is a breeze. Right now, #arch #gnu/linux it is.

We are now in a scenario where, lies shouted loudly become truth(#Gnu/Linux is a third grade os and it is better to run it within #windows). And people who know the truth don't want to speak about it(win$@%# is a rogue app which can be tamed #virtually and completely wrapped in a #container so that it does not know and do anything to your #computer).

#Raspberry pi 4 was amplifying the fan sound through my speakers connected via the 3.5 mm Jack. Solved the problem by connecting a #Bluetooth speaker. Any pointers in resolving this fan sound amplification is welcome.

Just came to know thatb#firefox cannot install #extensions on #ios. That is extreme high handedness. What sort of platform is that. Infact, is that a platform. I am shocked that this issue has not been talked about much at all.

Its high time #ubuntu Gnu/Linux had a base install like #arch or #debian particularly for desktop users so that they can mould it the way they seem fit. The ubuntu Gnu/Linux #server install is an overkill for a minimum installation. After the install, the search starts for disabling the innumerable #services started by default.

@nergal#anaconda was a "different" installer when I started around redhat 6. All other installers we're tui's. I would love #Openbsd installer anytime with awesome defaults.

Just searched the cost of a particular car on its own website. The website asked location permission and it was not given. The search was done on #firefox with the regular addons. No mail id nor phone number was shared. Within 10 minutes received a mail from a competing car company to my email id. My phone was on the same #wifi network and the wifi was on. #dystopia

#fbterm is what I was searching for the #raspberry pi 4. Fonts, colors and vim themes done. #dvtm and #abduco remaining. #console #window manager. Thanks to all the devs and users of the tools mentioned. So beautiful and fast.

Finished my #dvtm - terminal window manager #abduco - terminal session manager, #fbterm - terminal #w3m - browsing, #less - PDF viewer, #epy - eBook reader, #surfrraw, #ddgr - search, #mpv - video player, #mpd - music. No X at all. Bliss, if only the console had recognized the super key.....Thanks again to all the users and devs for keeping up the "do one thing and do it perfectly" *nix philosophy.

@jawshThe 8 GB is a newer variant and can boot from usb out of the box. If it is a 4 GB one, you boot it once through SD card, update the firmware and you can boot from USB.
