It's not enough to offer an RSS feed on your site any longer, apparently. A lot of people don't even know what that is. They see XML code in a browser and assume the page is broken or the link is wrong.We have lost so much, and have to teach all over again.

@Polychrome That happens to me a lot. Usually I only take the factory temperature as a starting point and use temperature towers to dial it in per printer. It can even vary between colors of the same material.

Ultimately I decided I had to put my apprehension aside and just tear down the machine so I can get started on the Switchwire. It's harrowing because I spent so much time on it. I needed to push myself to a point of no return to get started on the Switchwire.

While it's nearly a tired cliche at this point that fedi runs on trans people and furries, under it all is something unsaid.A lot of marginalized people keep this place going, not to make money, but to create a space for people like themselves. Social media hits different when those running the network are in the community, rather than extracting *from* that community for their own ends.
