burger is built with:brioche burger bun, toasted and sauced both sides1 slice swiss cheese1 slice streaky bacon1 deep fried chicken thigh cutlet/fillet (batter mix below)shredded lettuce dressed in herb mayo2 thin tomato sliceschicken battered in:flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika (plus egg wash)herb mayo made of:mayo; dill, basil, parsley (all finely chopped); pinch of salt; dash of pickle juice; 3-4 dashes of hot sauce (you want something slightly on the vinegary side a la tabasco - it's mainly just to add a little bit of acidity to the sauce)

@TrashBoatDaGod as a fellow fgc boomer man (GGACPR player here) I sympathise with you, but ultimately I think the identification of the Ysaar bug as “needing a patch” was warranted. The response didn’t really strike me as “I’m losing to this and I don’t have an immediate answer therefore it should be removed”, and more “hey it’s probably not meant to work like this, right?”; I think SF6 as a game isn’t shy about characters having strong options, but it’s also set pretty clear boundaries for itself in terms of what characters should be capable of, and the Ysaar bug fell outside of those boundaries, imo. SF6 just isn’t really the game for those kinds of tools, interesting as they may be.Though I do have to say that the fact that it can be neutralized by drive parry (and potentially even drive reversal) is a testament to how powerful (and imo well-designed) the game’s defensive systems are!

i have concluded that smash 64 and umvc3 are the same game- both are known for being volatile games focused on touch of death combos- one of the best characters is a defensive powerhouse (morrigan/pikachu) while another kills you dead for looking at them funny (zero/falcon)- both games have extensive community-driven modding projects that add new characters which form their own meta separate to the base game (palette swap/remix)- both have subpar online play options compared to other games in their series but fan-made rollback implementations are not an impossibility

now, is there an inherent weakness to the suggestion that you should shop around for an instance you want to set up on? yes.do larger instances defederate because of petty interpersonal drama? also yes.there are genuine weaknesses to fedi, just like there are for every social media platform. cohost users act like everything is going to be perfect because cohost is run by a worker-owned coop as if those have never faced any operational challenges that compromise their principles throughout history

i have been lucky enough to have my experience with fedi be one not of “large clusters of instances talk to each other until they don’t and we all have to migrate like a flock of birds”, and instead have it be one of “this is a niche community forum that looks like twitter and sometimes there’s crossposting from other niche community forums that also look like twitter”. I’m just saying there seems to be merit to my approach
