@craigmaloney Not to mention the number of inkjets that get scrapped because they're used so infrequently the printhead dries out.(I can't believe I bought a dang HP laser again but I have thrown out one too many inkjets and, welp, this thing has sure lasted longer than any of them did)

I have reached the point in this hobby project where I have to remember how to do Oauth2 in JavaScript and I start to consider if maybe I am confused about what "fun" is. 😒

@john A lot of people changed it with a CSS hack and only much later discovered that their "Sign Up"/"Log In" buttons are also now "Toot"/"Toot" which was hilarious but not newbie-friendly. 😆 (There is probably a more refined CSS bit that doesn't do that but the most commonly passed-around one was a blunt instrument.)

Two problems with needing a cane maybe once a year: Dang thing gets buried way in the back of the closet.And also: walking with a cane is actually a skill, that is only "just like riding a bike" if you ever use the bike long enough to learn how to ride it before putting it back in the back of the closet.(I have an overly stretchy MCL that sometimes just decides to take a little R&R. Doesn't really hurt, but that thing is structurally important.)

In the masto web interface, if you're replying to someone and you hit the little cancel-"X" on their post, your reply goes away. No matter what you typed, no "are you sure you want to leave this page," just boom, you're back to an empty compose box.I used to think this was kind of a bad design but turns out, it has saved y'all from so many of my lengthy replies where I've just gone "y'know what, *I'm* exhausted reading that" and bip, it's gone.

Dragon making process is a little iffier the last couple days. Got all the pink-frosted vanilla cut out, and started on the purple sparkle. But it turns out the dark purple's wing piece is not in the bag (which I thought contained entirely matched-up bodies and wings) so I've been making progress but zero fully-finished dragons.

Here's a still from the timelapse I played around with: the satin looks much better by itself (though I meant to do it in dark purple and not black).The underlying fabric, when you catch it without the oilslick flash, is tie-dye. Makes a pretty good fancy-dice fabric.
