@john A lot of people changed it with a CSS hack and only much later discovered that their "Sign Up"/"Log In" buttons are also now "Toot"/"Toot" which was hilarious but not newbie-friendly. 😆 (There is probably a more refined CSS bit that doesn't do that but the most commonly passed-around one was a blunt instrument.)

@silverseams Heh, yeah, mine's a bit more selective than that! I'm using the "compose-form__publish-button-wrapper" class to select it, which shouldn't catch anything else (you'd hope). Mastodon is an absolute screaming mess when it comes to this though, so I'm a little bit worried, and will try to make sure it's not catching anything else.
