This is probably a dumb thing/expectation, but I do wonder if there's a way I can hide all read toots (so I don't have to remember where I'm up to each time I re-open the app). I muuuuuch prefer a super-clean interface.

Weird thing. I’m so burned out from the bird site that I’m too exhausted to talk about anything in my life or that’s going on. Gonna take some unwinding/#healing to move past that, I think :/

Woke early, excited for the day. About to get into work, but first... (#adhd brain) I just want to see if I can code up a little tamper monkey script to recreate something I did for myself on the birdsite - namely, remove toots from home that are in my lists, and from local/federated that are in home (ie, make everything only appear in one column) - so I'm not constantly seeing duplicates. It reduces cognitive load a LOT #ux #mastodon

@phil_stevens Yeaaah. I earn reasonably well. We're looking at moving. It's going to be a _minimum_ of 50% of my net income. And that's for a shithole.NZ SUCKS re equality, and especially rent vs ownership of property.

Slept on the couch last night. Partner _might_ be coming down with something. Statistically unlikely to be covid (lack of recent social activity), but tests are not reliable until day 3/4 with new variants. So, waiting to find out if it’s just a sore throat that’ll pass with sleep, or something much, much worse. And in the mean time, being cautious. Aka not a complete fucking moron. (Sorry, that covid denier that was here the other week really triggered me)

@0xabad1dea I fit that description, and now I am INCREDIBLY curious about the programming socks.I've been programming 40+ years, and I almost always have cold feet (I'm wearing two pairs of socks, plus slippers, right now). Is there some fantastic trick I'm missing out on?!?!? (please say yes!)
