       @sidawsonCheck out the link I posted this morning to a post by a journalist called Veronica. If you look at it on the web, you can see some pretty toxic backlash. A lot of which you might not see if you interact with the post in your fedi app, if your instance admins are blocking the troll instances like most do.(Side note: she's feeding the trolls, which is unwise and I advise against it. But having said that, their toxic posting is their responsibility not hers.)

       @strypey omfg. You’re not kidding. Wow. Just wow.  First I looked in my app and went “hmm ok. This seems.. fairly reasonable”. Then (per your suggestion) loaded it in a browser. SO HORRIBLE. I’m guessing all those instances are blocked by mastodon.nz, that’s why I don’t see them? Coz UGH.
