@jcutting @appsI'm using fedilab as well, but have not seen or experienced any rate limited errors. why happening to you and not me? I view tons of posts, and add my useless 2cents to many, but have not got the rate limited errors like what you're getting. weird.

@walruslifestyle @neurovagrant#XMPP #OMEMO #signalI tried using cheogram as my client for xmpp. I don't really know what I'm doing. the e2ee is not enabled by default. why can't the clients just build in and enable e2ee by default. I don't understand. because there is so much choice, its fragmented and confusing. I remember getting a DVD player from Costco, the DVD player had so many features, I literally didn't know how to use it. I returned it and got a DVD player with half the features and was able to use it. the first player was way better because of the advanced features but was unsuitable for a layman like me. same with the xmpp space, maybe better, but yet too complicated for the layman to use. too many choices, too fragmented, too confusing. need to dumb it down, make it easier onboarding experience, then maybe there is traction.
