@grammargirl Absolutely no way. Maybe if there's recognizable branding with a very small seasonal tweak? I really rely on shape & color schemes to easily pick out one podcast from the others, and if those change a lot it's much more effort for me to find them.Maybe this fits in with the trend I sometimes hear of referring to a single audio recording as a "podcast", where I would consider it an "episode in a podcast" or, if disconnected from a podcast series, a "recording". Is the episode its own creative work, to be branded independently of everything else, or is it one issue in a larger volume of work (to borrow magazine publishing lingo)?

I want to use an #RSS #Feed reader more. I've installed various readers on various hosts, but they all get out of sync. What's the best way to avoid this and retain some ability for offline reading?I use #Android #Windows and #Linux, and might also want to do #iOS.I briefly looked into The Old Reader and Feedly, but don't see any Windows applications and I'm not sure they do offline. What would you recommend?Boosts welcome.

@grammargirl Bing News/Microsoft News is absolutely a dumpster fire. It wasn't always so. Until a few years ago Microsoft employed human curators and it was a pretty great, fair aggregator of news from a wide range of sources. Now it's worse than useless.

@daniel Cars designed with no thought at all toward fuel economy. Fuel was so cheap before the mid 70s(?) that there was basically no incentive to seek economy. Our family for a while had a 1972 Chrysler Newport Royal. https://www.forcbodiesonly.com/mopar-forum/threads/1972-chrysler-newport-royal-all-original-36200-miles-5900.32063/Ours was brown, with a 440 cubic inch engine. That's more than 7 liters. It would cost a fortune to drive today. I'm sure it would have had an mpg rating on the single digits. The engine was loud and while it could produce a lot of power, it was very slow to respond to the accelerator.
