       @jrmat The article talks about how much money they're losing, so big money to be spent, but perhaps not as much big money to be had.Although Spotify isn't in Silicon Valley, it's a typical Silicon Valley play: spend a fortune to try to become the dominant leader when a big market emerges. And you could argue it worked well for Gimlet's founders. They raised big money, spent a fortune, got acquired for a fortune. But it didn't work out so well for the Gimlet employees and the shows.
