So i have a question that I’d like to put to the spinster community. If I share an article like the one which is critical of white women am I being misogynistic & dividing the feminist movement? (Yes these accusations have been made here) I’m not looking for validation & im not hurt by the accusations although I am angry. The only reason I’m concerned Boudicca is that there are new rules coming in about slurs & if someone reported you, you could be shadow banned or suspended. the other thing I love about tumblr is how users are savage to any changes, any new owners, purposely do things to devalue the site from a commercial perspective and create their own frickin' add-ons to undo any changes staff make (hello xkit could not use tumblr without it). @Glitches

I didn’t expect that in my search to not be censored over my radical feminism and science non-denial that I would also be confronted with so much racism. I don’t mean the usual stuff I see that I just block or mute, or users I would question or engage with, I mean hard-core Nazi & white supremacist shit. Under current rules I can link to this stuff not just for critique or analysis but just for shits & giggles. I complained about one user who is sharing this content and although other posts of his were deleted and the user warned his sharing of anti-Semitic content for shits and giggles is still there. Your approach isn’t entirely libertarian because you do have red lines. I’m just objecting to where you have the line now. I don’t think white people understand the toll that daily exposure to racism takes on people of colour & I’m tired people. @alex

My 2 cents about the anonymity debate. I don’t give a lot of time to social media & do my activism in real life. I made this decision a long ago & think it’s a sound one. I don’t see any benefit to my activism from being on social media except being pulled into fruitless discussion when that time could be better spent. I come here for sisterhood, to support women who do activism online, education & information to fill me up again for what I consider to be the real fight in real life where I’m not anonymous. I respect & honour all of you whatever decisions you make.
