@insurgentem This is a very short sighted thought. The hurt caused is not the same, like at all. Any normal person is going to go through emotional turmoil with a half-rejection, then ultimately be faced with the same hurt when they either get it or the other person has to spell it out for them. This is in addition to the hurt of the rejection itself.

It's also a reminder too though how quickly my anger can get spooled up. It seams even platforms like this that seems to manage interaction better still sometimes brings out the worst in us

to continue the #duolingo rant that I saw a few days ago, I just noticed it collects location data, but there is no way to disable this. Isn't that against current app store posture? Can anyone else confirm this?

@lil5 unfortunately iOS. It's just confusing because I thought this was part of the most recent push. There's no option to disable on my iPhone's settings, despite showing it uses location data to track.

it seems that my insomnia is raging again. Up at 3am no matter when I go to sleep or intend to wake up. Have added a few new strategies in the last few weeks so trying to wait a few more weeks to see if they help in the long run. Life struggles

I'm been moving away from Spotify, a move I should have made months ago. I got a raise so I decided I could buy a few albums and I have simple taste so I just listen to the same music anyway.Point is, I realized that you can't buy spotify premium in app. Is that their way around the app store cut?? or am I imagining things?
