@futurebird @ainmosni @IanAMartin My colleague and I are always Oh Shimano 1X Apex Di2 Campagnolo tubeless blah blah blah and meanwhile another colleague spent last summer doing the longest climb in Taiwan and then the all Tour de France climbs tour, and when we ask him about his gear he says Oh I got it a couple of years ago. It’s white I think.#BikeTooter

@futurebird One of my mates has done a couple of rides of 50km or more nonstop recently. He can't track stand but if he comes to a light he'll cross to the other side, circle back, as needed until he can make the light green. On one of the rides he was waiting for someone to meet at a convenience store and just rode circles in the parking lot until they showed. Helps that he lives on the edge of town and is soon in the mountains, but I told him he's being crazy AF.

@futurebird My buddy and I were just recalling the Happy Days episode where Richie dates a divorcee, and they did the whole “hot to trot” schtick. This of course was in the 70s (with a show whose premise was in the 50s).Can’t help much more with tropes, but do have a lot of experience with my parents’ and my own rather messy divorces. (One each, I hasten to add.)

@futurebird I've got one in Word and Excel that I use to print the New Year's cards. I'll have to redo it this year in LibreOffice.For work, I've written one in Python that does attachments. I've even written the docs (because I use it once in a blue moon and can't remember how to run it).
