@csb If Gene runs his own node it might take slightly longer to route the payment compared to sending to an Alby account.

@csb you only see successful incoming and outgoing transactions in the extension or on getalby.com. Unsettled transactions are not shown at all.But the preimage is only displayed in the extension.

@csb @Alby @merryoscar There was some short maintenance work on our node earlier the day. Could you try again?

@Alby @Castopod Yes, Castopod was one of the first enabling V4V payments for podcasters: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YdLPo94B-sgAlby helped Anita Posch to build a podcasting platform based on Castopod for podcasters from developing countries: https://twitter.com/AnitaPosch/status/1626478549812015106

@mitch @csb Thanks for the feature request. Currently we only show successful payments: https://guides.getalby.com/alby-wallet-api/reference/api-reference/invoices#get-outgoing-invoice-history

@csb I understand that. Can podcasters direct listeners to signup for Alby within podcast apps? That's the place where they listen to the podcast.

@Kolomona @mitch @StevenB @merryoscar @podcastguru Alby is always accessible for users who sign up for an account from the podcasting app directly and it will remain like this. Users who come directly to getalby.com, can register and receive invite codes on a daily basis https://form.jotform.com/220301236112030We are also happy to share a list of codes to facilitate the access. Are these feasible options for you?Podverse and all others are great apps. It would be a pity if you cannot recommend them anymore

@csb You can sign up for an Alby account without invite codes if you come directly from a podcast app.We give out lists of invite codes to partners if they wish.

@csb @Kolomona That is unrelated to Ainsley's show. We are currently experiencing load issues and are working on it. The team is already looking into it.Sorry for this experience, CSB.

@csb That's correct. We are working on adding these details. The receiver already sees comment, sender name and email address in his dashboard on getalby.com.

@csb hey CSB, Bolt-11 based payments and messages run on separate rails. Currently we only know data regarding the invoice (hash, preimage). The message is sent to the receiver's server directly. Adding the message/comment makes sense but requires quite some changes to our database and to the API that we use in the extension and on getalby.com. I created a feature request for you here to push this feature more: https://feedback.getalby.com/-request-a-feature/posts/add-additional-data-a-transaction-in-the-transaction-list-on-get

@csb I added your comment to the feature request. But for boostagrams you should see in the transaction list. These are keysend payments. The other upvote is mine. 👍

@adam @dave @csb Are these requests to a lightning address or plain keysend payments?

@adam @dave @csb Payments to lightning addresses create an increased load on our server infrastructure, because of the high payment frequency in podcasting. That makes it difficult for us to reliably distinguish between spam and legitimate traffic, so some requests may get blocked accidentally.

@adam @dave @csb You can simply log into your Alby Account on getalby.com and follow the steps to reactivate your lightning address. For now, we’ve manually fixed it for the listed accounts above. We need to review and improve how we handle this volume of requests.

@adam @dave @csb 1 sat payments are not spam. A lightning address resolves to a URL that gives you a BOLT11 invoice. This invoice will be paid in the ideal case. Or it won't be paid for different reasons. So we cannot know if there is a real payment intent behind a invoice request.
