@csb @Alby @merryoscar There was some short maintenance work on our node earlier the day. Could you try again?

@moritzk Now it went through as pictured in attachment but it’s not acceptable: it must work 24/7 Because previously I was recommending getAlby as RELIABLE alternative to running private nodesOr at least please have some getAlby-status page so that I know when NOT to send boostogramsand as I can’t repeat big Boostagrams as some cohosts would get less money. :

@moritzk @csb csb we are working on the ability to retry a specific split so hopefully this should help going forward.

@csb @Alby @moritzk @merryoscar that one is on us. but we’ve been back quickly, sorry for the hiccup. We do our very best 24/7, but downtimes will happen. as a small team we can not make guarantees, but our track record is pretty good so far. ;)keysend payments have also the issue that it is hard to add redundancy (as they depend on that single node key).we are part of proposals to update this.

@bumi shure, I understand it allsuggestion: please create status page where you will inform users that maintenance is ongoing, something like: https://status.heroku.com (cloud platform as a service from Salesforce, that runs on top of AWS and GCP) so I can go there and I can wait till maintenance is over sadly: as you can see in attached pic, bitcoin lightning doesn’t have built-in redundancyCC: @moritzk @merryoscar

@adam Höfe AC,Nope, that’s not optimal approach, better: Kaizen. Quote from LLM:The concept of continuous improvement in Japanese is often referred to as "Kaizen" (改善). Kaizen is a business philosophy that focuses on making incremental improvements in processes, products, or services to enhance quality and efficiency. It is a cultural approach that involves everyone in an organization, from top-level management to frontline workers.@bumi @Alby @moritzk @merryoscar

@csb @adam @bumi @Alby @moritzk @merryoscar Kaizen is represented by what @bumi said, "we are part of proposals to update this."baby steps.Everyone wants the plumbing to improve. There are SO many moving parts to this, and golly, we're less than three years in (maybe only ~2?) on our tremendous uptake with the lightning transactions. We'd be basically nowhere without Alby. It'll improve. All the right people are motivated in the right ways. It just takes time.TYFYC, @csb

@mikeneumann OK, but you’re PodcasterMyself I have no podcast, my participation in podcasts as guest or co-host is off the table , and I’m boosting a lot every week so my perspective is totally different
