@BrodieOnLinux Well, it is a special (although probably not unique) that it is memory safe without giving in to garbage collection. So, Rust fangirls and fanboys are at least partially right, but partially right is the worst kind of right.

@mgorny Czech one used to be called ČÚZAK (BTW, collaborates very intensively with the Czech #OpenStreetMap community), but that sounds too rude (no, I will not explain!), so it is ČÚZK now (https://cuzk.gov.cz/).

@BrodieOnLinux The fact somebody pronounced something for 25 years doesn’t mean much. Only recently, I learned that all Czech pronounce #Emacs incorrectly, and I remember when Milan Zamazal claimed that year 2000 is a good opportunity to start using Czech diacritic and presented his macros for Emacs ;).

@BrodieOnLinux Plus, with absolute 100% certainty all relevant distros would ignore the forked kernel. Linux kernel is https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux.git/ and nobody cares about anything else.

@BrodieOnLinux He seems to be too rigid, and the final advice with date-based URLs is a bit questionable.Also, one should read https://www.w3.org/Provider/Style/URI (yes, that's the same article and same URI from 1998). Helped me a lot organizing my folders on my hard disc as well.

@fuxoft @sesivany That's nonsense: 1) it is not more complicated to start with #Matrix than with #WhatsApp (you just install an app, register and go), 2) simplicity is overrated... if people were that stupid and require it, everybody be on SMS, where you don't have to do anything. 3) in the end what really matters is what your friends use.
