Be a sucker.Make my entire infrastructure dependent on a proprietary SaaSS implementation of Git.The proprietary SaaSS suddenly wants money from me? How could this happen?The only thing that surprised me is that Microsoft didn't start doing this sooner.

@mcepl@en.osm.town I like how this comic is 15 years old now and still more relevant than ever. I do still have the urge to replace "open source" with "free software" in the last panel. Because the free software movement warned us about these things 40 years ago. The open source movement never did.

@SuperDicq @mcepl Yeah I think I'll retract, I just went to https://www.explainxkcd.com/wiki/index.php/743:_Infrastructures and looked for Stallman, I should have read it a bit >likely Richard Stallman, an advocate of free and open-source softwareI thougt he drew Stallman as such but I saw few(255, 344, 345) other with Stallman and his design is certainly different.
