@lowqualityfacts I disagree strongly with the OP's assertion. A problem with all social media is that it presents lies and facts side by side, removing all cues that would help people tell which is which.By presenting low quality "facts" in a low quality font, LQF satirizes this problem and reminds us not to believe all we see.

@stux A second Civil War would require a second Confederacy, or some similar rogue government capable of raising funds, organizing an army, and defending territory.Problem is, America's would-be rebels aren't concentrated in the Southern states like last time. And the modern US military is much more formidable.The coming crisis will probably be an escalating series of terrorist attacks by so-called accelerationists hoping to start a civil war.

@onan However, in the USA where I live, many people who are offended by blasphemy will engage in, excuse, or look approvingly upon expressions of racism, sexism, homophobia and transphobia. Our religious bigots demand common courtesy for themselves but extend it grudgingly to others.

@stux The anti-government 2A fanatics want lots of guns to defend themselves from government overreach that will almost certainly never come -- for them.Instead it comes for the people like the ones roughed up by police during the anti-ICE protests: marginalized defenseless people and those who speak up for them.If those protesters brought guns, the cops would not be deterred. They would simply slaughter the protesters and call it self-defense.
