@Wolven I think I’m the only one I know who uses a home Covid test before I go to the doctor because I don’t want to infect them the most out of everyone I don’t want to infect. It took me many years to find good medical providers who can handle chronic illness. If something happens to them I suffer greatly.

@lowqualityfacts awww is it IBD? I have a cat with IBD and sometimes it makes him scream in pain. 😢 (I buy $80 prescription cat food for him but he still has flares sometimes.)

@moffintosh my old roommate was turned down for a secretary position at the DOJ because her student loans are in the income based payment plan, and because her income is not high her payment is $0. So her credit report says paying as agreed, but the DOJ claimed she would not pass a background check because having a zero payment on your student loans is somehow seen as screwing over the government even though they assigned her that payment.But nobody wants to work. 🤷🏻♀️

Why do people treat the election like the Superbowl?? All the stupid merch and flags and what not. What even is that except Capitalism conning people into buying plastic crap from China to virtue signal tribalism??But then I opened this email and I see that they know people treat the election like the Super Bowl and it seems totally normal to them. This is actually suggesting that if people think the red hats are going to win they are more likely to vote for the red hats, and I honestly don’t understand that logic at all.In 2012 the polls predicted that Obama was going to win again, so I didn’t hustle and apply to vote absentee before I moved across the country knowing that I wouldn’t be able to vote in my new state because I wouldn’t be able to establish residency fast enough. If the polls had been telling me that a Republican was going to win in 2012 I would’ve figured out how to cast my vote here before I moved.So I guess I don’t understand why claiming the red hats are going to win will make the red hats actually win, unless people think the election is like a Super Bowl bet.

@ParadeGrotesque it also showed a lot of women that their husbands don’t actually like them, and that they are actively choosing not to participate with the family. Take away all that extra “busy stuff” that kept them away from home, and they lost their minds.They realized that it’s not that he doesn’t have time, it’s that he doesn’t want to so he won’t.

@moffintosh it’s been my experience that people who are not into politics are either so privileged that I would never be able to relate to them, or they are conservative men and they know I won’t speak to them if they admit it.i’m not even exaggerating, every man who has tried to tell me he is not into politics is a straight up red hat wearing cult member. And those guys are even scarier than the evangelical red hats. I can have a little respect for someone who stands up for what they believe in, even if their beliefs are delusional. But I have no respect for people who force their beliefs on everyone else but then try to pretend that they are not fascist scum.
