@kev I've been using #Feedbin, it looks quite great and I use the web interface exclusively, it also has some neat stuff like Twitter, emails (for newsletters) and micro.blog. Cool stuff. Quite a bit more expensive though, haha.

@eliasr I'll try. I agree with Martin in this post until the letter is mentioned.I think that telling non-binary people how to use pronouns is awful although, I'd have to agree that is most likely RMS being very pedantic. It's possible that we are missing information because FSF Staff are under an NDA and the author of the claim tried to still express that with this quote. I imagine that frustration because it has been talked about privately may have also contributed to that.1/?

@eliasr I believe that simply calling him "creepy" rather than misogynistic is wrong. From what I've read, RMS has enabled people who were harassing women in GCC to defend his person. He has also fought to keep an abortion joke in technical documentation. He has violated the safe space guidelines at LibrePlanet many times from what I can gather and has tried to hide rather than excuse himself for the behaviour. I do not think this can be attributed simply to "being creepy".2/?

@eliasr I do believe that RMS is ableist to some degree because of his Down syndrome post. He has not apologized for it, he edited it. This seems to me like a continuation of his lack of accountability.Worth mentioning that Stallman has made another post where he says he agrees with Richard Dawkins when he calls it immoral to not abort a fetus which has been tested for down syndrome. I believe that's close to eugenics and ableism.3/?

@eliasr The post mentions that it may be unjust to call Stallman's thoughts as a "dangerous ideology" and I will disagree there too. Stallman's thoughts have enabled bad things and he has advocated for bad things. I do believe that the word choice is appropriate in that case. "brand of intolerance" I believe is also correct. RMS enabled people to fall to paradox of tolerance through inaction and enablement.

@eliasr Overall, yes, the letter is harsh but it is that way because it is a last ditch effort. RMS will not go away if people try to be nuanced and try to justify his actions. It will just enable to continue the way he is because "he's not the devil".Those are my thoughts, feel free to ask for any sources. I avoided putting them to not make a million posts.5/5

@xerz You'll need to learn how to make Sieve rules if you want filtering. As a result, I have not used filtering and resorted to manually doing it.Pricing is cheap. The admin dashboard is alright. Support team is good.They're working on a new open source webmail client which I think is cool.You can use any standard email client.Easy to switch away since they push you to get your own domain which I think is cool.I really wish they supported JMAP but I doubt most care.

@Coneng @kev The point was that GNU *is* *very* political. All technology is political.Trying to defend people's rights through free software while excusing discrimination of people's rights seems ignorant at best.
