       @Luca great tool, thank you 🙏 I recommend advising people to search their *own* instance for each username since this is not an obvious way to follow accounts. The other way of loading each profile URL has terrible follow UX if it’s on a server you’re not signed into.

       @misty was an early contributor to the design and execution of Shopify’s internal cloud dev tool. It’s very impressive and I hope it’ll be open sourced soon. It’s like GitHub Spaces but with better support for linking different repos and services (the hard part!). I’d never tried cloud development before Shopify. It’s magic.        There’s a phrase in Turkish that literally translates to “don’t be like parsley.” It means “mind your own business” because parsley is in every Turkish dish. 😂

       @futurebird same in Chicago: every summer is hot, humid, and miserable. I hated every minute of being outdoors. I try to explain this to people in Scotland (where it never gets hot) and they are dumbstruck 😂

       @maikel @elala @DanielleVossebeld doesn’t the EU already tax the rich? The site gives an example for Belgium where they define “ultra rich” as having 1.25 million EUR in assets beyond a main home. I’d think one already pays massive tax on that, no?

       @maikel @elala @DanielleVossebeld the petition is very light on details 😅 but, thinking about it more, I guess the problem is brackets stop at 50%. For example, Belgium’s tax bracket stops at income over 46K EUR (taxed at 50%). There’s nothing beyond that level of income.
