@foone It's a shocker that the finger protocol hasn't caught back on for personal info/pages.Especially given how poorly AI handles hands.

@foone Ooh, X10, RF power control stuff. I still have a remote and a couple power switches for that here somewhere. I ditched them for Kasa plugs/strips.

@foone Crappy as Logitech has been lately a lot of theirs do this easily. They have a button to swap between 1/2 and I have mine using receiver/bluetooth and I think it can be two different receivers. My MX Ergos switch like that and my M585s. Not sure which others.

@foone I think SecureCRT does this if you have SecureFX installed as well.I don't have that on this machine to check. I just have SecureCRT and if you drag+drop on it, it offers to send via ascii, binary, or Kermit/Xmodem/Ymodem/Zmodem

@foone I think their site search is awful.I just checked and the G203 doesn't show if you look for corded mice but it's there if you search for it, and in stock.

@iFixit I've replaced joy-con sticks, joy-con and body shells, and batteries. None were pleasant experiences. The battery was especially awful because of the adhesive.I want to hope that Switch 2 is easier to repair if needed, but I doubt it will be.

@nihilistic_capybara @iFixit There is a stock photo that's been circulating for about 10 years now with someone holding it wrong, it pops up now and again with some regularityhttps://factcheck.afp.com/doc.afp.com.33R86KF

The orange tabby kitten decided it was a good time to be particularly photogenic. We have yet to find a suitable pair of names for the kittens, none of the names we've tried have felt right. Suggestions are always welcome.(Canon SL2, EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS)#FeralCats #Cats #Kitties #CatsOfMastodon #Photography

@foone Looks like underextrusion, which could be any number of things, but it could easily just be the filament degraded sitting there so long.

@foone @Argonel It tests more things than the cube does, and it's better than benchy for certain tests, but if you're just looking for a basic dimensional and flow test the cube is still good.If you aren't yet interested in diagnosing things like overhangs and so on then I'd just keep running the cube until you sort out the extrusion issue(s).The CaliCat is definitely cuter, though, and easier to pass off to people instead of throwing out.

@foone @jf_718 Unfortunately it's possible to get wet filament straight from the original vacuum sealed bags. They use water to cool it when making the filament, so it can retain moisture straight from the factory. But this does seem more like something impeding the extrusion more than the filament itself since it seems to be somewhat consistent with both types.Wouldn't hurt to do a cold pull/atomic pull to make sure there isn't a partial clog since it sat for a while.

@foone Ugh! Might still be possible to change with a gear puller but those are a PITA. Last time I hit one of those I ended up replacing the whole damn stepper motor with one that wasn't stupid.

@foone Did you unplug something or turn off something like a camera? Or lessen the load?I had one that would do that but only when the camera was plugged in. Also at some point I had to cover the power pin on the USB cable to that printer because it fed the control board over USB and wouldn't turn off.

@foone And a virtual magnet to distort the monitor with and leave it discolored/warped until you degauss.

@foone keyboard with individually addressable RGB LEDs that highlight a selected key, which you move/select via mouse input and when the letter you want is lit, click the mouse button. Maybe a special button on the mouse you use to activate keyboard mode.I mean you could just type on it, but then you'd have to take your hand off the mouse.
