@kzimmermann @mike We recommend using our custom launcher (called airshipper) as the main server runs on nightly builds (and the flatpak can get out of sync). Of course if you want to place singleplayer connecting to the main server won't be a problem. If you are on an arch based distro you can get airshipper from the AUR

@urusan I'm not paying the bill to cool the house below 83 degrees lolHere in central California it is regularly over 100 degrees Fahrenheit during the summer. The temperature has only just started to cool off. Hasn't been over 100 for a week and hopefully this trend continues. I've come to think of a high of 97 as a "cooler" summer day

@The_Quantum_Alpha Used thinkpad off of ebay. Recommend the T or X series. Tough as nails and can be bought for cheap. You can step forwards or backwards in age to get the price where you want it

@brandon In the US most items put in the recycling bin end up the landfill. Recycling rarely works how we imagine it does. Also the processes needed to get the plastic resin back into usable raw form often produce just as much, if not more, pollution than you are theoretically saving by recycling. I hate to say it, but recycling is basically a corporate ploy to keep people buying. The best way to reduce waste is to not produce it in the first place.

@mike AI generated faces look more "average" than a true human face in my experience. I wouldn't be able to tell them apart but AI faces rarely have the "blemishes" and asymmetries that most people have. My guess is that this somehow communicates trustworthiness to the human looking at the images.
