@stefano Tanks for checking that out! I suspect this might be related to the repo. If it's quarterly or latest.I'll check that in a moment.

So, I'm curious to know which monitoring system you use. In this case running in a #BSD server (my case is #FreeBSD )Boost appreciated πŸ˜‰ πŸ™

Playing with #Bhyve. I'm looking into deploying a #Debian #VM (for example) and a accessing it through a thin client. Any suggestion on how to better achieve this?So the idea is to have the VM OS running on my #FreeBSD machine and running it on a thin client. I'm wondering if #VNC would be the best approach.Cheers!

@stefano Thanks! My previous phrase regarding vnc was weird. I actually meant to say vnc wouldn't be the best approach πŸ˜… I did access through it and indeed is slow... thanks for the tip and I'm curious to read that "going-to-write-this-article-sooner-or-later"! πŸ‘

Reminder:Every time I'm trying new software and checking out all the configs, rc's, logs and so on, I remind myself why I love so much BSDs in general: system stuff goes to /etc/*, user stuff goes to /usr/local/etc/* and the same for the rc's into /etc/rc.* or /usr/local/etc/rc.*, etc...Makes life so much easier πŸ™ P.S.: Also.... no repos from 1000 different places plus the "OMG what's the incompatibility this time..." πŸ˜„ #FreeBSD #BSD #SysAdmin

Hi everyone! I was wondering how you guys replicate your zfs data.Do you use packages like Syncoid to automate? do you use your own script? send things manually (painful...)?I'm curious to know...#ZFS #BSD #backup #automation

@stefano Thank you Stefano! As usual, you're always helpful πŸ™ I did read your article (in fact, all of them πŸ˜„), but I'm curious of all solutions I can get! That's how sometimes you find interesting solutions.I've been experimenting on sanoid and syncoid and so far it's very nice, but I would say "still not ready for production...? at least for the syncoid part"cheers!

still struggling to understand how k8s really makes a difference in the real world... I mean, I get it, I really do! But in reality, who really (reeeeeeeally) needs it?The whole idea is really nice, but then again, I see big players taking advantage and profit from it.... I keep saying this: less is more :)
