I'm one of the maintainers of fluent-rs, a #rust open source library for translating software. I'm marking some issues as #GoodFirstIssue if anyone is interested in contributing.https://github.com/projectfluent/fluent-rs/labels/good%20first%20issue

Welp, I published for the first time on crates.io. It was relatively easy after doing all the prep work. Now to document the entire process. #Rust #OpenSource

@killyourfm @mconley I might add a Google Drive backing store one day, but you don’t need a local Dropbox install as you can do everything from the browser. My goal here is long-term music management that is backed by just files.I use it on mobile all the time, and regularly take band notes from my iPad during band practice.

I've been building an audio player for my side project browserchords.com. I'm amazed at how much work it is to get an audio player working from scratch. There is a lot of potential state management for loading and playing an mp3.

Anyone out there a native Lithuanian speaker? We added a new English to Lithuanian model in Firefox Nightly, and it's just under our quality metric for release. We may be able to still release it if we get some native speakers telling us that it's good enough. (boosting appreciated).

@i @karolis@group.lt @mcSlibinas@group.lt Thank you! Our document translator (which is independent of the machine learning model) struggles a bit with the inline tags in Wikipedia sometimes. Would you mind trying on a few news articles as well to compare?

We moved the Firefox Translations engineering channels from private Slack to a public Matrix channel, and it feels like a breath of fresh air. The project was a bit more closed in its infancy, but now that we are on a good track, everything is defaulting to much more open. This makes me happy.https://matrix.to/#/#firefoxtranslations:mozilla.org

Working with Europeans means that first thing in the morning I'm nerd sniped and don't start working on the thing I had meant to work on that morning.Currently looking into CPU/Wasm support for float8 and float16 values, while I meant to be working on some python data correlation code.

I must not vibe. Vibe is the mind-killer. Vibe is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my vibe. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the vibe has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

@spook I am doing something similar where I took off my Apple Watch finally and I'm tracking my health goals on a piece of grid paper with colored pencils

@spook My system is pretty simple, mostly drawing little icons on a page, but it does give me that same sense of accomplishment of "earning" a workout. I do find putting my weight in the Google Sheets app to be the most horrendous experience from my phone. I think for me it's about being able to design a system that works for me, and have my wishes respected.
