@BrodieOnLinux despite the weirdness of vibe coding, those are actually good advices.Choosing nextjs bcs "most users = most code = most training data" makes perfect sense, as someone who have tried to use ChatGPT to build my Nix HM flakes (don't, just ask in the discord).A lot of it are just common sense. Especially about gaming - to just pick up and learn a game engine because vibe gamedev doesn't work.

@BrodieOnLinux thank goodness. Honestly, I think the only reason why I feel alarmed was because Kees wasn't panicking himself while Linus did. Made it came across as just deflecting which gives me major jiatan flashback.

@BrodieOnLinux maybe you can use AI to rewrite them for you. If it works. Uhh, make sure to back the original file first? But theoretically you can give original config, give example new config, point to where it should read for documentations? I'd rather have that as starting point and then fix stuff from there. But I am lazy so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@BrodieOnLinux https://www.reddit.com/r/linux/comments/1l1zugv/revisiting_x11_vs_wayland_with_multiple_displays/I posted this on Reddit because, "Hey, neat article from KDE blog."Reading the comments made me go:

@BrodieOnLinux yeah. Thought it'd be neat to post on the sub.Was reminded of it because I saw the comment about x11 WM here, and the second top comment there is also about x11 WM as well.I guess WM people are the ones more likely to have issues with the changes Wayland brings.

@BrodieOnLinux this is why I try to always include a timestamp. It makes it easier if I come back because of a reply or something and re-read my comment too.

@BrodieOnLinux > It should probably be expanded to include dental workWait, it doesn't include that in Australia? Indonesia's BPJS covers that, I've literally used to get two teeth removed, one plugged, and currently another one removed since I have quite a lot of misaligned teeth + I used to be really bad with brushing them.

@BrodieOnLinux Well, if people want something more conservative, they can always just use SteamOS. Legitimately, I'm looking at it as a replacement for Bazzite since there is much less changes there, pretty much seems like the Debian counterpart to Bazzite.

@BrodieOnLinuxIt's... It's not Gnome is it. It has to be something else, but I'm drawing a blank because the statement just make me think of Gnome. But come on, they're not *that* bad.

@BrodieOnLinux Honestly, it might be karma lol. I remember GloriousEggroll laughing at Arch users having issues in 2023, with glibc and grub. I remember feeling bad about it since I used Arch then, but later on join in on Arch clowning after moving to Nobara/Bazzite.Whelp, joke's on us now. I've already been considering moving to SteamOS but I guess I'll have to seriously research and plan something just in case.

@BrodieOnLinux The issue was the way the proposal presented from the start. It wasn't a request for comment "what does it take to make us drop 32bit packages and when should we do it?" but it reads as "we should remove support next year." Also, Fedora's reputation of trailblazing, complaints be damned, history did not help. The framing was an issue. I think if this was done similarly to how Plasma's Wayland transition was done, we would have a healthier conversation.

@BrodieOnLinuxinput-remapper, xwayland-video-bridge, OBS, Spectacle, Kwin.I realized that I'd rather base all of my solutions on Wayland tools instead of getting further entrenched in x11 ecosystem.Once it does most of my basic display right, and I found enough tools to cover most of my needs, I just moved so that I don't need to worry for the next ten years.I think x11 is just plain techdebt for both users and developers.

@wolf480pl No, then people will eventually just hide everything. There has to be a way to sort notifications by severity and only surface the ones people really care about.
