       There's a poorly worded comment from a few months back I want to clarify.Hot Take: Nazis are badBut I don't agree with the premise that all Pewdiepie subscribers are Nazis and I think with how people labelled with that term are rightfully treated it's incredibly dangerous to go around calling people that with no evidence. If there's an individual you can prove is bad, that's fine but you can't blanket call 110m people who subbed to a channel over the past 19 years

       I don't care if random people make comments like this but the reason why I felt the need to make the comment in the first place is I saw someone who is respected in the Linux world as a leader of notable Linux distro and I don't want people to think the Linux and FOSS worlds are going to turn you away based on a premise that's not true at allMost people in this space are incredibly nice and incredibly welcoming but like everywhere you're going to run into some friction.

       I'm not going to name names with this post with who came to me with concerns and who made the original comment but if the people involved see this understand that I even if we may have some disagreements I don't have any ill will against you personally but I hope we can both better think about how we phrase public statements.

       @TheEvilSkeleton @danirabbit I agree that was a really badly worded comment and I regret framing it the way I did, I was angry with some personal stuff at the time and lashed out in a way that wasn't productive.

       @TheEvilSkeleton @danirabbit When people use the nazi bar metaphor it's typically to say if you're in a bar with nazis then everyone there is also a nazi, if she didn't mean it this way then I apologize to her

At least it doesn't come across for me.And yeah a real apology would be very much appropriate.Often even a single comment can do so much damage and send waves of harassers towards some people...
