@maestrapaladin @cygnathreadbare imagino que es difícil percibir el cambio como un beneficio cuando blueski no parece tener un ambiente muy distinto del tuiter actual. La razón por la que me encuentro a gusto en Mastodon es que no es exactamente como tuiter era ahora. Quizás si como tuiter era hace 10 años. Entonces en el fediverso me noto *mejor* que en tuiter, o por lo menos alivia sus peores problemas recientes, y eso me incentivó a quedarme.Si bsk es exactamente igual, por qué cambiar?

Lo del alcance es lo que intentaba decir yo: el sistema de invitaciones ha creado una habitación llena de vendedores todos intentando gritar más que el de al lado y ni un solo comprador. @aral Personally I always try to read this as a preventive language to avoid scaring rich people. "we are launching a publicly funded resource but we promise we will not seize your privately run ones unless they really fuck up". I want to think it's not that much that the EU desires for things to be a market, than the need to appease private bankers and The Netherlands least they feel threatened.

@elhombremalo yo siempre he tenido la sensacion de que la hostelería es un reducto donde se han conservado actitudes más propias del despotismo que de la democracia. Todo eso de servir al otro, de que te regalen con una actitud deferente mientras hacen las tareas domésticas por ti... Me da la sensación de que son normas sociales que ya estaban establecidas con anterioridad, donde el feudalismo ha sobrevivido dentro del estado moderno.Asi que no me extraña que le guste a la derecha.

En USA los clubes de golf y las cenas benéficas son descendientes directas de las cortes inglesas. Los americanos eliminaron el concepto de derecho de nacimiento pero preservaron y replicaron las conductas de Arriba Y Abajo de la aristocracia, simplemente reemplazando el argumento del derecho divino por el Networking y las conexiones familiares.

@aral There is one word that I love and that does not get used enough, which is "adamism". Adamism is the mental bias of, when you first learn something, thinking that it has just been invented a second ago and you are the first person in the world to notice it. Privileged people do this a lot as they never interact with working class people, other cultures or grassroots activists. They live in closed circles oblivious to many existing ideas, and then they pretend they have invented those ideas.
