@Linux_in_a_Bit alt-right people refuse to act in good faith politically, as seen by people like jordan Peterson, Ben Shapiro, and the likes. To engage in a political discourse, the bare minimum that a person needs is a good faith attitude. Raspberrypi abused the good faith nature of the criticism and spread conspiracy theories about mastodon in the press.

@Linux_in_a_Bit thats really not what's going on and you're misguided on the issue. I explained what I did, this isn't the case of tribalism nor is it a case of extremities. It is a case of foundational integrity, privacy & discourse, and institutional abuse of the crucial important social cultures.

@Linux_in_a_Bit I'll definitely look into it. Ive got a bit of a soft spot for the official app due to it being my first experience and it being so minimalistic and aesthetically pleasing.

@juliaclement I think its a slippery slope. The moment we decide its okay for an algorithm to study someone's likes and the kind of content it likes (using certain keywords and such), it would then become increasingly difficult to draw the line with time.

So my parents ( "Nmom" and host dad) want me to "spend time" with them when all they ever do is abuse my agency every fucking step of the way I'm surrounded by them (not even an exaggeration, I'm not walking over eggshells, the whole floor is an eggshell) and have neglected me my entire life.
