The fediverse, whilst by no means perfect(the inequalities of the world are reflected within it) is better able to represent a multiplicity of opinions and is less susceptible to groupthink and censorship by virtue of its non-centralised nature. There are signs of influence operations but that's going to happen anywhere and since there is no central authority in the fedi organic blocking of un-genuine actors is possible. #fedi #fediverse #DeleteTwitter #DeleteFacebook
