this open source project that gives away all their code for free and anyone can run their own code and set their own rules... I, I don't like the devs politics. burn it to the ground.by the way here's a link to a youtube video of a funny meme, and totally not evil and not dystopian google won't permanently add all interactions with the video to their immortal databases for you to be forever tracked across the internet.

@dublinux the serious answer is: developers' politics influences development decisions in non-trivial and non-obvious ways. CWs are a good example of that.Since I am investing time in building something that uses said freely-given-away code, I need to be careful that I don't end up using code whose main developers will in a year or two will start making development decisions that will become a problem.They're free to have their politics (duh!), I just want to know what they are to make my own decisions.
