@rin ngl carrying a card sounds easier than carrying a roll of paper money and a ton of useless coins, which overflows from your walletbut yeah it's always better to have a cash option to remain safe, which I use so frequently that I only use card for payments over internet

@safiuddinkhan just to be clear, the same, to a very small extent, also happens in FOSS community. there are many examples of malicious pypi and npm packages for example.the reliability of cracks also depends on their source, and there are also FOSS crack tools such as MAS (Microsoft Activation Scripts). but it's better to run them on vms first to be safe.

@alexstandiford @ademalsasa not really. Element is using Matrix, a federated protocol on its own. Fosscord is planning to develop a native compatibility layer with Discord as well as a federated protocol inspired from Matrix, but not currently available as of now. Others use their own protocol. The only way of cross-platform communication is using something like a bot right now.
