Last week I finished watching Better Than US (2018), a Russian series about a robot that doesn’t respect Asimov’s laws. The robot lands on a family with divorced parents just when the mother was trying to take the kids to Australia without telling their father.It has some family drama, anti-robot terrorism, evil corporation trying to put its hands on taxpayer’s money, the struggle of mental illness, killer robot trying to turn a broken household into a happy family…I enjoyed it very much, despite not being a series person myself.https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/84380

@wandering_soul My parents are the same, except they don't get mad, just believe that I'm going to get lost since I don't remember the names of the streets and become surprised when I actually find the place and come back.It's basically impossible to become lost in the smartphone era, and even without one, just being familiar with the area is enough to not get lost. In my case, the only fear I have is suffering an accident and not being able to give proper directions to emergency services.

@projectmirai39 I took a quick look at AlternativeTo and the ones that look more interesting are Jami and Tox.I liked Jami more because it's backed by the FSF, and it works in a more traditional way (normal usernames rather than some kind of hash).

Because it seems you can see what you want but for some reason you can't reach it, and this strange obstacle makes you wonder if it's a mistake to pursue what you desire. @wandering_soul That sounds like the friendzone :blobdead: . Still, I would recommend trying to meet her outside your daily schedule (bus/school/uni or whatever) when you feel like it. Nobody wants to miss the bus and arrive late at home, also people can be tired or being distracted with the daily events (it happened to me years ago when a nice girl tried to start a conversation with me in the bus home and I wasn't having it). If she accepts the proposal you'll have a new friend and if she refuses you'll have more peace of mind and could still maintain a cordial relationship.Otherwise, in the future you may torment yourself thinking that maybe you should have given it another try or approach the matter differently.
