@futurebird I went to one. On balance I think it was ok, even though there were stretches when I really hated it. I was younger than my classmates and not very mature, so that probably didn't help.

Not being American, I didn't know anything about Charlie Kirk. Now he's dead, I'm learning about him from all of your posts. Granted these are posts from people who obviously didn't like him, but boy, did he give people a lot to not like.

It's a strange feeling logging onto the news to hear that Trump has just declared war against my country, Nigeria. On the one hand, it's scary. Cos not only is it the greatest military force in human history, it's the greatest military force in human history at the whim of a madman. But then he's got such a short attention span that next week he'll be warring against Tatooine. Nigeria is not perfect. We do have Islamic terrorists. Nigeria has problems. We all remember the kidnapped Chibok schoolgirls & Boko Haram. These days, we talk about 'bandits' - nomadic marauders who sweep into villages at night, killing. Yes, the perpetrators are often Muslim, and the victims sometimes Christian.But I don't think it's about religion at all. It's climate change. The Sahara is eating up northern Nigeria, forcing its people further & further south. Clashes with southerners are inevitable. Their differing religions are incidental

AI has no soul. And that is why it'll never be able to create real Art.We say that, and it has the ring of truth, but...Not that long ago in human history, forks were made by artisans, lovingly moulded by craftsmen. I can imagine that, back then, they might have argued that identikit factory-made forks would never do the job. But none of us use handmade forks today. @futurebird This is a cool coincidence. I'm in a store shopping for a water bottle right now . Saw the nurse last week and they said my kidneys are struggling a bit cos, apparently, coffee isn't a substitute for water. So I thought, I need a fancy water cup. 🙂
