       Question for Americans: why are your door numbers so high? I live in England, and I live at house number 20 on my street. My sister lives in America, and her address is number 12401. And her street's shorter than mine! What's that about?

       @davidnjoku Here in Salt Lake City, street addresses are Cartesian coordinates from a common origin I can mostly tell how far away something is, and how to get there, just by looking at the address
