@samsethi 🙄 People who use Uncle Tom as an insult probably have not read the book Uncle Tom’s Cabin (if you did, you would understand why).Also, casualty reports from Gaza have primarily originated from Hamas (a terrorist organization) either from the Health ministry (under Hamas control) or a UN agency in Gaza (also under Hamas control).There is also no report on how many killed were combatants verses non-combatants, & Hamas counts both together which is odd.

@ricci Yeah, I agree. I know of the 145 million Flipboard users, about 1200 (I think‽) have turned on Fediverse sharing, & those stats are thankfully included by @fediverseobserver (which makes it easier to measure).Threads being around 50,000 makes sense, as I doubt Meta would mention any stats under a million to the press (I wish they did for what it is worth).

Google Gemini comes across as a helpful, but informative butler, providing reasonable answers but scared to discuss anything too controversial.Grok (on 𝕏) is like a snarky best friend, who is intelligent but wild & has no issues embracing taboos or breaking the law.Couple the fact that 𝕏 also has those flirtatious companies (ewwwww!!!!) & this “AI is your soulmate” becomes an issue.
