can't find the headspace to read anything literary. doing it feels like a chore and i immediately find a higher priority thing to do. maybe dedicating a day in a week to it, and justifying it by the amount of tasks done before will make it feel good again (question mark)

there's a book clearly written by an autistic person with superb imagination but she's soo full of shame of it being noticeable by others and fears of becoming like the failed ones she was always told about and all i want to say to her is you're already one start from there if you're thinking like this then you have no protection you're already in the hard spot think where you go from there not delude yourself that others have it worse than you it doesn't matter and i kinda wait for her to publish her next book where she's just having fun with it

That it was all connected to the location shooting for Stalker became clear to me when Larisa Tarkovskaya died from the same illness in Paris.

how to design an institution that would cause an anxious person to kms1. give dishonest, vague, incomplete information but be very detailed. don't say anything useful unless explicitly requested. respond defensively, never use precise terms.2. introduce uncertainty, change the rules on the fly, use 'maybe' a lot, never statistics. have no clear protocols. hinge everything on mood, goodwill, connections, luck.4. have a rigid ego. get offended easily and gaslight them for questioning your choices. if pressed, refuse access or escalate into a conflict.

sometimes i'm trying to optimize 2kb RAM on a script then i catch myself on bullshit, being sidetracked from doing what matters, write unhinged walls of texts with only a couple salvagable lines to be recycled later in another wall of text. i call this the sieve of least bullshit.

a part of this transsexual awakening or whatever you call it is that i've always experienced emotions second-hand, being mentally numb closed-off all the time then seeing someone having a likeable trait and trying to embody emphatize emulate that as much as possible until it becomes mine, but it never did, so i'm at this moment a loose hyperlinked collection of various characters i kinda pretend to be -- by quoting, referring, invoking, playing, pretending, performing but never like actually feeling -- just to have a personality, and be able to interact with people, so now is such a weird moment for me, i'm like trying to lean on some personality aspect and exaggerate it, rather than just safely moderate, yeah just feeling like a person or trying to identify what i like at all, not supposed to, but that i actually do, and it's kinda scary cause i'm new to this developing own personality through following your inclinations to the end thing which is apparently what everyone else was already doing but then still ended up so boring
