@selea @loke yeah, I would tend to say that too.Not swedish but when I access YouTube with a Google account I dont use often, the French recommendations I see are really bad, with content similar to what you describe. It's not the case when I use my regular account.Maybe using Swedish as language messed up Google recommendations system, and, within a few weeks you will get interesting content ?

@basadeskaiser if you were born with it, it would mean that it is genetic. Very few complex reasoning are innates (we must even learn to walk). Besides, it could imply a heredity of critical thinking.

@alex @graf But the question is: our own solution to what problem ?

@alex @graf I mean I get the point to have a money not controlled by any institution. The problem is: bitcoin is not a real money regarding the three capacities that a money should have. The only purpose of bitcoin today (and a lot of cryptos) is to speculate

@alex @graf the point of the economy is not to allow certain people to get rich by any mean, it's to share the value among people, and to retribute them for their production. When you speculate with bitcoin you make money without having created any value for the world. But you have generated a lot of energy consumption.

@alex @graf Dont get me wrong, bitcoin isn't the problem. The speculation in general is. (+ it's what rich people do with actions too) But the more bitcoin is used to speculate the lesser it can be used as a real money (aka to buy things, to keep value during time)

@agoradefense @alex @graf To be a monney, a value must propose three characteristics:* Can be used for accounting (since it's value is recognized by all), not the case here* Store of value, the value is stable enough to be kept in time, not the case here* Mean of exchange, not really the case here since there isnt a lot of economic operations that can be realized in bitcoin

@agoradefense @alex @graf Of course Bitcoin can respect these properties, but only if it become stable enough

@crunklord420 @alex @graf The criteria is "limited in circulation" at any given time the amount of US in the world isn't infinite. At least I read this like that :)

@verretor The second question is interesting. It depends of many factor. Does the guy know the country ? Is the country in measure of assuring the value of its money ?

@verretor It's not really a question of "Does he know what it is" but "Does he trust the value of the money". An important part of the trust in a money is determined by it's stability. Bitcoin is unstable. Bolivar is unstable. Euro is stable. Yen too.

@xianc78 Interesting, however it's a english vocabulary problem: in french we don't use an equivalent of currency, and "monnaie" can describe money or currency without distinction.
