@Jack5150 eternal november isn't the right name. eternal september was called that because traditionally new college students were given usenet access and fucked up the place before either conforming or being bullied out, i dont know a word that describes "people get angry at twitter and decide to leave" or some independent event or time surrounding it.

@condret @GAGOOT @p the block from replying also applies if he's in the thread, even if you dont directly reply to him. i wouldnt really care much one way or another except i mostly lurk and dont post that much. i feel like a minimum time here as an alternative to minimum posts could be good as most drive by spammers would probably just use a different instance rather than creating a sleeper spam account here a year or two before activating it.

@sim the keys to getting away with war crimes are1) winning the war2) fostering a culture that leads to war crimes but never explicitly authorizing them. this is what happened witht the number of POWs the us killed, they were killed by decision of units and individals who were never acknowledged rather than by orders from higher ups whereas concentration camps and pogroms were explicitly talked about by higher ups.
