I too have read isaif and I'd be interested in reading more.If we're looking for a short read, Ted's Ship of Fools is also pretty good.

@laurelok, sounds good as another option, possibly with some other essays though since it is very short.@Arkana @Dicer @FreeFediBookClub @Kagekokoro @MK2boogaloo @SuperSnekFriend @cully45 @kakkerel @leyonhjelm @monsterislandcolonizer @reasonabledestruction @rher @sevvie @sim @skells

I have started Anti-tech revolution so it'll be interesting to finish that and continue to read more material from him to discuss in the book club.

A lot of things that I'm not familiar with. I think it is great for a study group read as you can take in more through conversing about it, but I'm not so sure that it is for a casual reading group. I do find it interesting so far but there is a lot packed into it to ponder about.

@skells@qoto.if its as referential as sim says then i dont think we should read it as a casual book club. ive been procrastinating looking for info on the content of essays but the anarchist library has a bunch that we could pick from. id reccomend "the system's neatest trick" (the only one ive read) but i would also be interested in something themed, like essays on violence (he has a couple with titles promoting it and one on timothy mcveigh) or maybe notable letters to and coments on other movements.@MK2boogaloo @Kagekokoro @sevvie @cully45 @Arkana @FreeFediBookClub @kakkerel @laurel @leyonhjelm @rher @Dicer @SuperSnekFriend @monsterislandcolonizer @reasonabledestruction @sim

We could break it up but I'd think we should include at least ~30% (let's say until paragraph 86) of it.I think that isaif is better in terms of quality than the essays.

@laurelhavent read any of them but "in defense of violence", "when non-violence is suicide" and "ted kaczynski's comments on timothy mcveigh" all sound violence related. i think it might be interesting especially with the first one not just to read his views on violence after he used it for publicity, but also since i assume he wrote them while in prison and advocating violence usually means letters dont get sent.@Arkana @Dicer @FreeFediBookClub @Kagekokoro @MK2boogaloo @SuperSnekFriend @cully45 @kakkerel @leyonhjelm @monsterislandcolonizer @reasonabledestruction @rher @sevvie @sim @skells
