❄️ devastating tornadoes struck western Kentucky last night. The entire city of Mayfield has been destroyed and many towns damaged. A single tornado was on the ground more than three hours and traveled 227 miles. 100 people might be dead. That's what we know now. Working on coordinating relief, if you're anywhere in the region and can collect supplies I'll help figure out how to get them there. Biggest ask currently is first aid supplies.

👾 it's just heartbreaking to think of the workers in the Amazon warehouse and the candle factory that collapsed in the tornadoes. Both completely avoidable, senseless loss of life because management would not sacrifice just a few hours of production and let people leave in an emergency. Capitalism is such an unfathomably cruel abomination.
