       Wow, crazy weather rolling through here! Easily 30 mph winds, with 45 mph gusts or so.We live on a hill, and visibility is usually about a mile to the next ridge. It just dropped to maybe a quarter of that with blown rain.It'll likely go through fast, but wow. Even seeing a tiny fraction of what the Midwest got -- it's much stronger than storms usually are around SW VA.

       @erosdiscordia It left the ground about a county away, but was headed right toward us... late night tracking it.It missed my parents house by less than a mile... two hours west of here (same tornado... let that sink in for a second... it had already been on the ground for 3 hours at that point).a secondary one hit Bowling Green where my daughter is in college... she came home for break earlier yesterday... this is about a block from her dorm.
