it does sadden me to realise that this bubble of pure joy we have right now is not what our entire relationship is going to be. but to be honest, we've dealed with shit together in the past already before we realised we were in love, and being together has always made hardships easier to confront. and we can still have our little bubbles of joy here and there. we don't have to give up this little world of our own entirely as soon as life throws stuff at us again.

@iska @testoceratops i second looking into lisp at some point if you want to broaden your programming horizons and culture, but games programming (which is what OP is interested in afaik) is not most easily done in LISP. So while it is interesting (and i myself love lisps), I wouldn't dedicate large amounts of time to it unless you're looking to learn more about programming in general / include lisps in your projects

@ShadowJonathan personal experience: i call myself a trans woman and that's my interface to the outside world but like. im a lesbian. and that changes everything because lesbians are famously Not Women in the social sense. the traditional concept of womanhood is so defined by heterosexuality that if you are excluded (to some extent) from heterosexuality, you arent really a woman in the full sense of the term. tbh noone is a woman in the full sense of the term bc its a weird ideal that cant exist in the real world. anyways idk why im writing anymore but i initially just wanted to confirm that from my experience too, as a trans woman, gender is a fuck
