       literallycurrently im just like..."okay so im not feeling like participating in Man Culture, but after learning about Girl Culture im not feeling up for that either"then im just sorta left in a place between and im just like, ah yes, this is me, now i dont have to give a fuckit helps position me without being like "ok but what if im actually inside that circle", but after a while im just convinced that i dont want to be in either circle regardless, simply after learning how much those circles have cultivated cultures that i fundamentally disagree with and am incompatible with

       alsoi have a feeling that trans peeps, in the process of transitioning and thinking about themselves, are actually redefining masculinity and femininity, and in the process making it Queer, or "queer"and i think that is a good thingbut that means that "passing" is fundamentally not an objective virtue in this regard, because then its more or less a social standard that is interexchanging with the "usual" definitions of masculinity and femininity

       and now that im thinking about it, i think this is exactly what TERFs are "complaining" about, that trans girls are basically going "fuck this" to that surprisingly-toxic and intricate and restricting "you cannot show this emotion here" kind of bullshit that's being perpetuated, by just being... happy, being real, being genuine and honest, no matter where and when that is. this effectively shatters the illusion of cohesion that (what im honestly just gonna call) toxic femininity creates, of everyone "looking their best", and "behaving their best", and allironically, i think men already have a cultural "disposal position" of men who arent "men enough", with all the effeminate slurs and stuffi think transmascs (though i cant confirm enough) are just sorta pigeonholed like that, then, basically being targeted by another degree of sexism after having transitioned, which... urgh

       @ShadowJonathan personal experience: i call myself a trans woman and that's my interface to the outside world but like. im a lesbian. and that changes everything because lesbians are famously Not Women in the social sense. the traditional concept of womanhood is so defined by heterosexuality that if you are excluded (to some extent) from heterosexuality, you arent really a woman in the full sense of the term. tbh noone is a woman in the full sense of the term bc its a weird ideal that cant exist in the real world. anyways idk why im writing anymore but i initially just wanted to confirm that from my experience too, as a trans woman, gender is a fuck
