@ChrisPirillo If you really enjoy writing you might like to find a Pleroma instance to join as they have far greater than Mastodon's 500 character limits per post. By default, 1000 and upwards of 5000

I've been training a stable-diffusion model on pictures of myself and the results are really nice. I'm not gonna share any here, but it's fun and doesn't take long to get going. It even picked up on the silver streak in my hair (pictured). So the Reddit enhancement suite makes it easy to jot and attach a quick private note to a user, so that when you see that user again you can remind yourself of the context of the interactions you have with that person.I’d really enjoy something like that on here.

@feld My startup's main product relies heavily on this. We allow our users to define table functions using Python or C++ and it's especially performant because our DB utilizes CUDA for parallelization

Every few years I try to start up a writing habit and it never takes hold. It’s getting to the point where I’m defeating myself before I even try. It sucks. I’m bad at self censoring. By that I mean that I know I self censor, and I consider that bad.

I'm never quite sure if I'm using "so to speak" correctly. There's a few turns of phrase that I was never taught on a chalkboard and they just come about from life, and that too is where the doubt comes from.
