@shadowfacts I think what was confusing me is the science fiction and fantasy being a part of the plot at the same time; technology is advanced, yet the characters carry swords. (not that I have a problem with swords... we should all have them!)

@shadowfacts I have discovered a lack of caring how an application looks as long as it performes its function. Though I don't like Electron too much, either, but its not for the reason why you think.

@basileion @amerika I like lots of rock types, but I have to say that heavy metal is particularly enjoyable; particularly symphonic metal. I also like the music of the Far North, as well; modern Vikings make fantastic musicians.

@thatguyoverthere @feld @oklomsy I wish that were true; even with communications in general, I prefer encrypted to unencrypted. I used to believe in the "I have nothing to hide" argument, but then when I looked at it further, the information doesn't matter as much as the fact that no one needs to have unnecessary eyes on it where not needed.

@thatguyoverthere @feld @oklomsy I think that as long as we have free well as humans, there will always be a reason for it. It sucks, but it's true. then again, I have never truly analyzed it on a psychological or philosophical level.

@thor Reindeer fur... Have you ever seen a truly white reindeer? In a book I'm reading... not sure from where the legend originates, but there is a white stag, and in the series, he's called the Lord of the North. Is that based upon you guys?

@thor Gorgeous. Deer of any kind are some of the most majestic and amazing creatures. Reindeer are larger than normal deer, though, aren't they? (which is why I love the Norse legend of Chris Cringle over the Americanized one.)

@thor It does. Ginger and peppermint. One or the other should help you. Peppermint helps with nausea for me. Even candies... those hard things. As long as the mint in them is real.
