@bonifartius @waffelo And XMPP server is so lightweight you can have it around without even noticing. So I keep both installed and running.

@mgrondin @thebiologist1117 Apperture was probably too open, so you ended up with a very shallow depth of field and the image lost the focus. At least is what I guess.

Someone is not actually very happy with us, and I am not sure why. This is part of the ip list of access in the last second, with the ammount of hits per second.

@mike Yes, they are. I've blocked everything for now and I will try to find a way to avoid that without using cloudflare. It is the company website that is in a shared hosting, so I do not have much control over that.

@jrballesteros05 I was taking a look at others and they appears to be fine. Maybe it is just not updated?

@jrballesteros05 The source appears to still be available and updated. https://github.com/elastic/elasticsearchI do not use elastic search, so I may be missing something.

@margio @selea is that for regular emails? Because I use iRedMail (free) in Contabo (3 users only with 3 domains. About 10 email addresses total) with no issues at all. I receive their pass reports every day.

@fatboy That's a hard one. They both have good and bad parts. It would be amazing to have a mix of them.

Hello, Fediverse! Someone with more knowledge than me (that's not hard) in network to help me with a question?I have an internet provider that doesn't give me an external IP address, but I would like to be able to remote connect to my computer via NoMachine. Is there any way to bypass that? Maybe having some kind of permanent connection from my local pc to a VPS to have an open port all the time and setting up NoMachine client to connect to the VPS or something? Many thanks!

@fuxoft Thank you! I was recommended Tailscale as well, on which I am installing to test. They appear to work in a similar way.

@fuxoft That's interesting! I am reading about it here. I thought they were more similar, but they are very different at the implemantation!

@selea Oh, no. Unfortunately no. I don't even think these got here (too expensive for us). Some chips and boards, yes, but I don't remember any full computer.I had a regular generic 486 DX4-100Mhz. But that age was the golden age of the tecnology to me. Everything was kind of magical, fun, interesting... I see a picture as this and I am automatically "teleported" to that period. :)

@selea I use Contabo, in German. It is affordable for my brazilian wallet, so it is probably fine there. If I remember correctly, it was "linux" (devRant) that recommended it to me.
